“I Define Me” is a project put on by Izzy Myszak, a teenage girl who lives with type 1 diabetes. The main goal from this is to bring awareness to invisible illnesses and the battles people withstand while going through them. Throughout this you will see several stories and photo galleries of people who suffer from diabetes, lyme disease, depression, crohn’s disease, celiacs and many more. They will talk about life with their illness and how their diagnosis is not all that defines them. They are sons, daughters, athletes, students and so much more. They have broken all barriers and while their diagnosis may be invisible, they will be bringing a face to it and a face to what truly defines them.
